10 Years in Business, 10 Years of Impact: Supporting Female Entrepreneurs Around the World

This year marks 10 years in business for us, and as we reflect on the work we've done and the partnerships we've built, one thing has always remained at the heart of what we do: the desire to create impact beyond ourselves.

That’s why, for every new retainer client we welcome, we donate $100 to Kiva, a global microloan platform that empowers entrepreneurs in underserved communities around the world. It’s our way of celebrating the beginning of a new client partnership by extending opportunity to another entrepreneur across the globe.

Lending with Purpose

Over the years, we’ve proudly loaned over $4,000 through Kiva, with a focus on supporting female entrepreneurs starting micro-businesses in some of the world’s poorest regions. What’s powerful about Kiva’s model is that the loans are repaid—often in full—allowing us to re-invest those funds again and again to support more women building better futures.

Real Lives, Real Impact: Meet Bertha

Take Bertha Guadalupe from Guadalupe, Ecuador, for example. Bertha is a humble and hardworking woman who began her business journey raising small animals—pigs, chickens, and guinea pigs—in her community. The income from this venture allowed her to purchase a straight-stitch sewing machine, where she began sewing garments like uniforms, sheets, and blankets for local stores.

Thanks to the income from these two small businesses, Bertha has been able to grow her enterprise and support her family’s future. She recently applied for another Kiva loan and used the funds to purchase a coverstitch sewing machine, sewing materials, and additional livestock and animal feed. We were proud to contribute $50 toward Bertha’s latest loan—funds she’s already begun to repay.

Her story is one of resilience, determination, and the incredible things that can happen when someone is simply given a chance.

📉 Did you know? The percentage of people living in poverty in South America has dropped from around 30% in 2002 to less than 20% by 2020—thanks in part to grassroots entrepreneurship like Bertha’s.

A Ripple Effect of Empowerment

Stories like Bertha’s are why we do this. These women aren't just starting businesses; they’re changing the trajectory of their families and communities. And for us, being even a small part of that journey is incredibly rewarding.

As a female-led business, it means so much to support other women who are taking bold steps to build something for themselves—often with little access to resources or formal support.

Thank You for Being Part of This

To our clients—thank you. Every time you choose to work with us, you’re not just investing in marketing or strategy. You’re also helping someone like Bertha step closer to financial independence, dignity, and the power to dream bigger.

As we celebrate this 10-year milestone, we remain committed to growing a business that builds others up too.

Here’s to the next 10 years—and to many more lives changed along the way.
